Badyr Aschkar is the co-owner and head instructor at Budo Life Dojo. He currently works as a Physical Education Teacher for the NYCDOE and is the Assistant Director of Camp Alvernia.
As a school teacher, he pairs with parents and guardians to develop lesson plans and facilitate programming for his students. As Assistant Camp Director, he hires, trains, implements, and evaluates seasonal staff. He also leads operations for the camp during the summer. As owner and Sensei of Budo Life Dojo, he evaluates, coaches, and creates a customized approach to martial arts and fitness. Badyr enjoys spending time with his family exploring the natural beauty in Long Island.
